Tja, verkackt, Aemond. Man kann es nicht anders sagen! Weil er seine Wut nicht runterschlucken konnte und wie ein Irrer mit seinem Drachen losgestürmt ist, ist Lucerys „Luke“ Velaryon jetzt nämlich tot (😭)… und damit der Tanz der Drachen offiziell eröffnet.
Und wir müssen natürlich keinem, der das große „House of the Dragon“-Finale bereits geschaut hat, sagen, dass das Netz nach diesen dramatischen Szenen brennt. Und wir eigentlich gleich mit. Denn hollaaaa, das muss man jetzt erstmal verkraften. Also einmal den Tod von Luke und dann natürlich auch die Tatsache, dass die erste HotD-Staffel nun vorbei ist und wir laut ersten Aussagen von Produzent Ryan Condal wohl bis mindestens 2024 warten müssen, bis es mit Season 2 weitergeht. Na, supi. 🥲 Aber gut, darüber können wir uns dann morgen weiter Gedanken machen. Heute müssen wir erst mal in aller Ausführlichkeit über diese explosive letzte Folge sprechen. Vorrangig natürlich über DIE besagte Drachen-Szene, die hier alles verändert hat, aber auch über Rhaenyra, die in der Folge ja wohl etwas zu viel für einen einzelnen Menschen durchmachen musste. Sie hat immerhin nicht nur erfahren, dass ihr Vater tot ist und man den falschen Aegon krönen ließ, sondern musste auch noch eine furchtbare Fehlgeburt erleiden (diese Szene war traumatisierend!!) und nur kurze Zeit später hören, dass ihr Sohn Luke tot ist. Ihr vernichtender Blick am Ende? Gänsehaut! Und mit dieser Gänsehaut geht’s jetzt ein letztes Mal auf in eine Twitter-Runde zu „House of the Dragon“!

Jaha, es war laut Emma D’Arcy wohl die Idee von Matt Smith, dass Daemon und Rhaenyra in der Szene langsam, mit dem Rücken zur Kamera, Richtung Feuer laufen. Wortlos. Ein wirkungsvoller Moment, der Rhaenyras letzten Blick nur noch stärker gemacht hat. Und „fucking genius“, wie Emma es nennt.
